TOC

I meant to do this weeks ago, when it became crystallized, but anyway, here are the stories that are going to be in my collection:

If I Leap
The Fourth
The Centaur
Skinny Dipping in the Lake of the Dead
Cuttlefish
The Caliber
The Excavation
A Keeper
Fuming Woman
The Friendly Giants
Tetrarchs
Our Byzantium
Quiver
Child Assassin

Only “The Fourth” and “Quiver” haven’t appeared elsewhere, though I suspect that some of these stories will be pretty new to people who read more of the SF magazines than the experimental literary magazines, and vice-versa. Needless to say I’m really excited about this book coming to fruition. More news soon, I suspect.

Very groovy selection. And I really love your book title.

Great selection! I loved all of these, except I never got to read The Fourth, I think. Or did I? In any case, is this the order the stories will go in too?

My god, why aren’t you including any of your “Shadowrun” universe material??

It’s tied up in small claims court, actually.

Chris, I read “The Fourth” at the Ratbastards reading at Wiscon two years ago…but it’s quite possible that that reading was blocked out of memory because of, um, its curious properties.

I can’t wait to read this.

Oh that story!! Yeah, I sort of blanked that reading out for the, um, curious properties you mentioned.
