Attention Retro Gamers

Nintendo’s next-generation console, Revolution, is due mid-2006, and this was announced today:

[Nintendo's president] said he wanted the Revolution to be a “virtual console” and as such the Nintendo Revolution will be able to download 20 years of Nintendo content - virtually every Nintendo console game ever created will be playable on the Revolution, from the GameCube right back to the original NES.

That’s neat. I play zelda sometimes under emulation. I have my gold cart here under my monitor.

I am working on reimplementing berzerk. I call it freezerk. This is very much pre-pre-alpha at the time, but it is shaping up. I got the good guy to move and I made a bad dude as well. The walls are mostly done and shooting works if you want to shoot north only for now and leave a trail of bullets all over.

I like the new spot and I relinked it to my wiki so that I can keep in touch. I liked the poetry debate a lot, but I couldn’t get most of it, but I thought that it was interesting that the debate was taking place at all let alone the mind-blowing content. It’s nice to know that these things are being looked after by people.
